چکیده
Abstract This short review describes the assistance of click chemistry in chemical modification glycosaminoglycans. Through an alkyne-azide 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction, chemically and physiologically stable triazole unit connects glycosaminoglycans with other labelled or attached functionalities. The synthesized glycosaminoglycan (GAG) conjugates act as drug carriers, forming hydrogels nanohydrogels for localized delivery injectable GAGs so on. These are used research on antithrombotic agents, protein binding, hepatocyte growth factors, well mechanistic studies biosynthesis wound healing. 1 Introduction 2 Synthetic Modification GAGS 3 Click Chemistry 4 Applying 5 Conclusions 6 Abbreviations

Development and Applications of Click Chemistry
Reported by Gregory C. Patton November 8, 2004 INTRODUCTION Secondary metabolites produced in Nature contain diverse architectures with extensive carboncarbon bond networks. These compounds often possess important biological activities that make them potential therapeutic agents. However, drug discovery based on these natural products is generally slow, costly, and hindered by complex syntheses...

In this study, 1,2,3-Triazole derivatives have acquired conspicuous significance due to their wide spectrum of biological activities. There is a growing demand for the preparation of new antimicrobial agents due to the developing resistance towards conventional antibiotics, 1,2,3-Triazoles are an important class of organic compounds due to their wide applications in the synthesis of pharmaceuti...
متن کاملApplications of azide-based bioorthogonal click chemistry in glycobiology.
Click chemistry is a powerful chemical reaction with excellent bioorthogonality features: biocompatible, rapid and highly specific in biological environments. For glycobiology, bioorthogonal click chemistry has created a new method for glycan non-invasive imaging in living systems, selective metabolic engineering, and offered an elite chemical handle for biological manipulation and glycomics st...
متن کاملClick chemistry reactions in medicinal chemistry: applications of the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition between azides and alkynes.
In recent years, there has been an ever-increasing need for rapid reactions that meet the three main criteria of an ideal synthesis: efficiency, versatility, and selectivity. Such reactions would allow medicinal chemistry to keep pace with the multitude of information derived from modern biological screening techniques. The present review describes one of these reactions, the 1,3-dipolar cycloa...
